“WHO IS DUTERTE?”

            Rodrigo “Rody” Roa Duterte, also known by the nickname Digong, is a Filipino lawyer and politician of visayan descent serving as the 16^th President of the Philippines since 2016. He is the first Mindanaoan president of the country.

Duterte was among the longest-serving mayors in the Philippines and was mayor of Davao city, a highly urbanized city on Mindanao Island for seven terms, totaling more than 22 years. He has also served as vice-mayor and as a congressman for the city.

Nicknamed “The Punisher”, an alleged vigilante group called the Davao Death Squad has been tied to Duterte by human rights organizations and is responsible for the extrajudicial killings of petty criminals and drug dealers. Over a period of 20 years, he turned Davao City from the “Murder capital of the Philippines” to what tourism organization now describes as “most peaceful city in Southeast Asia”, and what number come ranks as the leadership in the Aquino government, which contest the effectiveness of his policies.

Duterte was urged to run for the Philippines presidency numerous times, but he refused these offers until well into 2015 on the grounds of a “flawed government system”, old age and opposition from his family. Nevertheless, on November 21 2015, he declared his candidacy in the 2016 elections contest for the office of the president of the Philippines, and won with a land slide victory, garnering 16,601,997 votes Duterte took office on June 30 2016, for a term for six years

Description or latest Development:

Franing khey stayed in his classroom (Room HRB) yesterday 3:30 pm (08/04/16).  Suddenly Berting Isige attacked Franing khey. Berting hit franing with a baseball bat. Berting keep beating up franing mercilessly. Franing stood up and fight back, Franing had a chance to grab the baseball bat of Berting and hit berting in the face. The school guards arrived and stop the fight, both are wounded and they brought immediately to the hospital.

SP04 Jack Hoback Investigate the Incident and asked the witnesses of the crime and he found out that it was a gang conflict. Because of attacking Franing Khey, Berting Isige will be expelled in University Of Mindanao due to that incident. As for Franing khey he will be suspended for two weeks for fighting back to Berting Isige

        Yesterday (August 4,2016) at around 3:30pm in UM D.P.T room 313, the named suspect Berting Isige came into the room and was very mad looking for Franning Khey (victim). When he saw the victim he immediately  rushed towards him. Franning tried to runaway from the suspect, but he got caught and was being beaten down. When the people saw the helpless victim lying on the ground they immediatley stop the suspect.

      The reason of the said incident was because of the gang conflict that both the victim and the suspect was involved.

      There's a girl named Jessa she was the only child of her family. She grew up that her mother was     very strict on her. During on her elementary and high school, she was the always top on her class.       Each time a classmate of Jessa gets a higher grade than her, automatically her mother would give a     punishment on her, that's what pushes her to study hard be the top on the class of all the subjects.        She grew very well disciplined and trained to be always on the top, and because of all the lessons  that she experienced. Jessa graduated as a cum laude on the degree if Political Science. Her Mother  was so proud on what she achieved. After all the discipline that she thought on her daughter it was  all worth it.

           He is the Father of the city of Davao and now the commander in chief in the Philippines. His a man with a deep love for his country and to his fellow Filipino. He is a brave man with a big heart. His ways on fighting crime especially on drugs what makes him popular not only in the Philippines but throughout the world.

Although many people criticize and hate him because of his ways, but still for me he is the man that the Filipino people need right now where our country have a lack of discipline. His ways and character fits to the leader that we need right now.

President Duterte wanted to clean our county "Philippines" from those crime maker. INCIDENT DESCRIPTION:
Thursday afternoon, at 3:30 PM at the University of Mindanao DPT building 3^rd floor, room H3B, there was a group of gang having a conflict. A Hot afternoon was happened. Fraining Khey was the victim from during that mauling incident. According to SPO4 Jack Hoback(the investigator), Fraining Khey was stab up by Berting Isige. Firstly, Mr. Faining fight against Mr. Berting, but when Mr. Berting was almost beat up, he took his knife at his back and he accidentally stab Mr. Khey because of his emotion. When the guard caught them fighting, Mr. Berting tried to scape but he was caught up by the other guard.

          Every time I am on my way home, buses are always fully loaded. I have to compete other passengers in riding a bus. In my past experience, an old man was standing, while the rest of us were seated, almost expectedly, a man offered his seat as a gentleman's act. Over the years, this practice has become rare.

            Overloaded buses are unusual . Although, there are laws that prohibit passengers to hang on at the door of the bus because it is dangerous, one can still see these almost anywhere.

           Now, there was a boy, maybe 12-15 years old, who was seated in a fully loaded bus. He had two heavy looking bags probably filled with books and notebooks. As the bus made it stop, about two passengers got off but several people jostled one another just to be able to get seats. A man in his 70's tried to get on board. Since he was quite slow due to his age, he was not able to get a seat for himself. So he decided to stand near the door. This is really dangerous because of the bus makes a sudden stop, one might lose his grip or his balance and the chance of falling down or falling from the bus.

            All of a sudden and to the surprise of everyone inside the bus, the boy spoke out loud,"Tay, you may take my seat." The old man smiled and thanked the boy. I offered my seat for the boy to sit but he refused. The boy was able to sit when a passenger got off. That was really amazing for a boy who is kind enough to give his seat to the old man. I realize how amazing a simple act of kindness is.

Describe our President  Duterte

     President Rodrigo Duterte is our 16th Philippines President. He is the first president that came from  Mindanao, he was known as the longest- serving mayor in Davao. "The Punisher" usually describes Duterte because of the Davao Death Squad (DDS) targetting  drug Lords and drug pusher in the City. 

I never had a personal encounter with the Mayor or President ever since I stayed in Davao City for 11 years. However, I was able to gather information through medias, article, news and etc. I would say that President Duterte is fatherly to all the people . He know ow to treat everyone fairly, he has the wit, capabilities of  a good leader, and straight to the point in making decisions and following rules that are implemented. During his campaign many people love him even more and pushed him to reign the presidential position. He is humble , never boast, and very simple like every ordinary person, all he wanted  is to do the task assigned to him, serve the nation and love the people in the nation. No other presidential candidate has the same kind of personalities; Duterte has offer to his fellow men and beloved country. 

He has been in politics for many years and showed to his fellowmen that he is not like other politician that they called "Trapo". He speaks well and very authoritative without any fear about consequences might happen to him. He chided the Catholic hierarchy for their opposition to the Reproductive Health Law and he forcefully stated that he would abolish Congress once elected. People believed in him that no other presidential candidate that has a strong political will to change the country from it's ill situation where the country has been struggling from corruption, criminality and drugs.

          While waiting for the class to start  student was able to witnessed the Mauling Incident happened last August 4, 2016 at around 3:30 in the afternoon at the University of Mindanao DPT building. The chaos happened at 3rd floor room #313. One of the student narrated the incident that while they are waiting a student named Berting Isige who quietly got inside the room and attack the victim named Franing Khey that result him to have injured on his face. The said fighting was lasted fr 5 minutes and they said that it was due to a conflict between a "Gangster". However, after the fight the police station picked the alleged suspect Berting Isige and the victim Franing Khey to the police station for further investigation.

The Envy Princess

 Many  years ago in a far away kingdom there was once  a King and Queen who wanted to 

have a male child , however, it takes couple of years before they were blessed to have one. The King and Queen already have a 12-year old daughter named  Meshica when the little boy was born.

The King and Queen never planned to let their daughter Meshica rue the Kingdom since she known to be a princess and limited skill capabilities. They just want Mechica to marry a prince from a far away Kingdom that is why the King and  Queen  strive to have a son. Meshica felt unwanted by her parents. She always see how her parents trained their son Jacob on how to manage, and rule everything  inside and outside the kingdom. A deep envy Mechica  felt towards her brother Jacob, she wanted to reign the Kingdom since she is the eldest in the family, she has proved to her parents as well that she has the capabilities of ruling the Kingdom despite of being a princess.

As time goes by Meshica turned into her adulthood but  she never find a prince to marry her. On the other hand her brother was titled as the new ruler of Bynes Kingdom. Meshica planned a revenge to her brother and find someone to kill her brother by poisoning through his food that will be served on dinner. But everything was not planned well, Meshica accidentally  drunk eat the food that should be served to his brother  that with sprinkles of poison  that was put on the food, and just a blink of an eye the princess end her life.

                                  August 4, 2016 around 3:30pm there is an incident happen in U.M DPT 3rd floor at room H3B. The two rival gang meet at room H3B. This two gang Alpha Manok Dakpha and Alpha Pato Dakpha fight each other and Franing Khey killed by Berting Isige of Alpha Pato Dakpha. This incident was investigated by SPO4. Jack Hoback of Talomo Police Station. Based on the witness statement that Berting Isige initiated the fight. He attack Franing Khey at the back while he is resting.The suspect was arrested by the Talomo Police Station. The family of the victim file a case against Berting Isige.

                                                        Eyes of the White Dragon

                                One day in the land of Madafaka their is a warrior named Pongngi. He is a strong and smart warrior. He loves his family so much specially his son and his gonna do all things for his son. He always find a way to cure his son. Until one day their is White Dragon attack their land and everybody is afraid. Until their is an old man says to him that if you want to cure your son you must kill the White Dragon and the eyes of it. Pongngi thinks the he really need to kill that White Dragon not just for his son but also for the people in their land cause he is the only person who can defeat that White Dragon. He asked the old man where he can find the White Dragon and the old man answer him. The White Dragon is living in the mountain a mile from our land. 

                              Pongngi in his journey to kill the White Dragon he encounter a lot of different enemies and he defeated it all. He took seven nights and eight days to find the mountain where the White Dragon is living. The mountain was so big and he keep on searching where the White Dragon is resting. After a long search finally Pongngi found the White Dragon resting. He tries to attack it but the White Dragon noticed it and the attack of Pongngi was dodge by the White Dragon. White Dragon breathe an ice and Pongngi was almost caught that attack. He run and go high ground and the White Dragon was still following him. When he reach the highest part of the mountain he hides in blind spot. The White Dragon was loss of his sight on Pongngi and the White Dragon decided to go down. When Pongngi saw that the White Dragon going down he jump on the leg of it and cut it by his sword. He killed the White Dragon and he get the eyes of it and he goes home and give it to his son suffering from a deadly disease. After how many days his son get better and the end of the story.

That's why many people love Pres. Duterte cause he is leader that we can trust and our votes was not wasted to those politicians who knows promises only. I believe that Pres. Mind over matter, I don’t mind and you don’t matter

While we often think of our bodies and minds as two distinct entities, it turns out they are much more entwined than we might assume. A change of mindset may help us a lot. Care to read my story?

I don’t socialize; I just want to be alone where I can be myself. I don’t mind if I have no friends, besides, they don’t matter. I used to be a happy-go-lucky, friendly, and viewed life as light as a feather. But everything changes, nothing lasts forever… scary right? I’ve been through a lot and it’s bugging me, but right now? I don’t mind at all. 

When I first encountered the subject Differential Calculus, I struggled so much; I became studious, and passed some exams. Releasing of grades came, I was confident that I’ll pass the subject but the only words that I uttered were “holy cow”. After that day, I locked myself in my room, I was so devastated, so angry but then, I realized grades are just numbers, it may change situations but I don’t mind because numbers can’t decide my future. 

When I was 4^th year high school, I experienced so much love and because of love, I felt so much pain. He was my first boyfriend, I felt so happy, and everyday seems like a fairy tale. Whenever I looked, his face is the only thing that registers in my mind. Every time I think of him, my heart skips a beat. I asked myself, is it really possible? Am I really physically attracted to him? Or maybe I’m just fascinated by his charm? I don’t know, I really don’t know. But all strings went loose, he cheated. I cried, I was confused and just heaved a sigh. I can be in some of the happiest situations and my mind drifts off to him. It’s hard, it’s just been hard. I don’t know, I keep thinking I am going to get better and when that time comes, I will smile. Pain? I don’t mind, it’s just normal to feel pain. You’ll feel pain because you loved, so there’s no regret in feeling that way. 

I don’t mind being single. As long as I can find myself happy with my family, I’m sure that I’ll be fine. But then again… I just laugh out of frustration. It seems like God was angry then threw bad lucks and unfortunately, I embraced it all.

Okay, okay, I get it now. I’m done dealing with it. Okay, life? You win, you always win and you always have. I’m tired… everyone left me, when will you stop?

I’m tired pretending that I am fine, that everything’s okay, that I don’t mind… don’t you think it’s too much? I can handle the pain, the stress you’re always giving me, but, why?

I just stared at the corner of my room, everything is pitch black. I opened my cell phone and checked if I have a message received. Then I saw a picture… a picture that saved me from the darkness. “FEAR, there are two possible meanings. Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise” I chose the latter and smiled. Okay life? Whatever challenge you’ll throw, it doesn’t matter and you don’t matter. I’ve got a power in me and that is to be mature and always think, Mind Over Matter.

Let us know more about our president. Did you know that he was expelled twice? Yes, that’s true. He was kicked out of Ateneo de Davao University due to misconduct. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science at the Lyceum of the Philippines in Manila. He also obtained a law degree from San Beda College of Law, still in Manila. Eventually, he took the bar exam and passed it. He also finds his term in the Congress as boring. He cares for indigenous and tribal people. He supports LGBT rights saying “Everyone deserves to be happy”. He’s so hands on to his work, he usually drive around Davao city twice a week to ensure things are well taken care of. He is persistent to every word that he say and actually mean them. He has a kind heart, in fact he was the first local government official to visit Tacloban city and arrived earlier than Pres. Aquino. He is a leader who wants delinquent people to be punished, a leader who is fearless, honest and confident. He is the strong leader with a soft heart, yet, an impatient man who wants high-impact results. Guess what? He is the best option we’ve got.

Description:

The day before today, the victim of the gang, Franing Khey, had gone to comfort room near Room H3B in DPT building. As obvious it can be, she entered the girls‘comfort room and she noticed that there was a janitress moping the floor, who happened to be the witness. When Franing entered one of the cubicle, and later on, got out of the cr and entered her room, H3B. The janitress was alarmed when she heard a loud bang beside the comfort room. As a curious person the janitress can be, she peeked at the door of H3B silently. There she saw a group of guy beating Franing hard and laughing at Franing’s misery. The janitress then started to find help from Criminology students and when the janitress and the criminology students came back to room H3B, the gang was nowhere to be found and left Franing unconscious.

The school filed a case against the gang and was sued.

Lately I have noticed that the students in the university often eat inside the library. This practice presents a problem: the nature of the library itself is slowly vanishing. Eating inside the library is prohibited and is obviously one of the rules and regulation of the university.

Hereinafter, would you please form an orientation and emphasize the rules and regulations of the university to every UMian for them to be guided? Thank you so much.
